Our family intentionally drove to Dubai Festival City to watch its new attraction that blends the power of water, pyrotechnics, lasers, lights and dramatic effects happening at the wide stretch of the marina to tell the story of a ballerina.
They had similar shows about four years ago, and if those were already amazing, this season's attraction puts more ingredients into it with the addition of the giant aqua screen projecting to Dubai Intercontinental hotel nearby, plus the ballerina telling her story through RGB lasers.
And if you are one who is collecting experiences of places that holds a Guinness World Records certificate, head on and mark a plus one in that list as the giant aqua screen used in the shows is the largest in the world to date.
I think Dubai Festival City is too generous to be playing this attraction every night for free, that I wish there would be more people who would come and watch it much like the audience of Dubai Mall's nightly fountain shows.
The mall has restaurants lining the marina where it could be nice to wait for the shows. However if the shows are your purpose, the Stardancer schedules are what you might check first which are at 7pm/ 8pm/ 9pm on weekdays and at weekends extends to 10pm and 11pm.
